Day 19 of 21

Perseverance

Galatians 6:9

"Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up."

Devotion

The Christian life is not a sprint but a marathon. It requires endurance, steadfastness, and perseverance through trials. Many start well, but not all finish well. The difference is perseverance—continuing in faith when feelings fade, pressing on when progress seems slow, trusting God when you cannot see the outcome.

Are you weary? Have you been faithful for years with little visible fruit? Do you want to quit? Take heart! God sees your labor of love. He counts every prayer, every act of service, every moment of obedience. Nothing done for Christ is wasted. The harvest will come in due season.

The warning is clear: we will reap IF we do not give up. The enemy wants you to quit right before the breakthrough. Do not give him that victory. Press on. Run your race with endurance. Fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. He will bring you across the finish line.

Meditation Moment

Identify an area where you are tempted to give up. Bring it before God and ask for strength to persevere. Read Hebrews 12:1-3 and meditate on Jesus' example. Thank God for sustaining you thus far. Ask Him for renewed passion and endurance. Reach out to someone else who needs encouragement to persevere.
