Stewardship
"Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful."
Devotion
You are a steward—a manager of resources that belong to another. Everything you possess—your time, your talents, your treasure—has been entrusted to you by God. You did not create these gifts; you merely manage them for His glory and purposes.
The question God asks is not "How much did you accumulate?" but "How faithful were you with what I gave you?" He does not measure stewardship by the size of your portfolio but by the faithfulness of your heart. The widow's two mites meant more than the wealthy man's abundance because she gave sacrificially.
How are you stewarding what God has given you? Are you generous or greedy? Faithful or wasteful? Kingdom-minded or self-focused? Remember—one day you will give an account. Steward well today so you can hear "Well done, good and faithful servant" tomorrow.
Meditation Moment
Ask God to reveal areas where you have been unfaithful in stewardship. Examine your use of time, money, and abilities. Pray about giving sacrificially to God's work—beyond your comfort zone. Consider setting aside a specific amount or percentage for kingdom purposes. Thank God for all He has entrusted to you.
