Day 12 of 21

Youth

1 Timothy 4:12

"Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity."

Devotion

Youth is not a season to waste on foolishness but a powerful platform for godly influence. Timothy was young, yet Paul called him to set an example for all believers. Age is no barrier to spiritual maturity, holy living, or kingdom impact. God uses young people mightily when they surrender their lives fully to Him.

Young believer, the church needs your energy, your passion, your fresh faith. Do not wait until you are older to serve God—serve Him now with all your heart. The world will tell you to live for pleasure, to experiment, to delay commitment. But Scripture calls you to something far greater—to flee youthful lusts, to pursue righteousness, and to fight the good fight of faith.

Older believers, do not neglect the youth in your midst. Pray for them, mentor them, encourage them. They face unprecedented pressures and temptations. They need your wisdom, your example, your intercession. Invest in the next generation, for they will carry the torch of faith when you are gone.

Meditation Moment

Pray for the youth in your church and family by name. Ask God to protect them from temptation, establish them in truth, and use them for His glory. If you are young, pray for strength to live counter-culturally. If you are older, ask God to connect you with a young person to mentor. Commit to encouraging youth ministry in your church.
