Hope
"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope."
Devotion
Hope is the anchor of the soul, the confident expectation that God will fulfill His promises. It is not wishful thinking or blind optimism—it is grounded in the character of God and the finished work of Christ. Because He is faithful, we have hope. Because He rose from the dead, we have hope. Because He is coming again, we have hope.
This world offers many false hopes—wealth, health, success, human wisdom. But all these disappoint. The only hope that endures is hope in Christ. He has conquered sin, death, and hell. He has secured your eternal future. He has promised never to leave you or forsake you. This hope will not put you to shame.
As you conclude these 21 days of prayer and fasting, let hope fill your heart. You serve a God who hears prayer, moves mountains, and works all things for good. Whatever you face, He is with you. Whatever you need, He will provide. Whatever He has promised, He will accomplish. May you abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Meditation Moment
Thank God for the hope you have in Christ Jesus. Reflect on what He has done in your life over these 21 days. Ask Him to sustain the spiritual growth you have experienced. Pray that you would be a person of hope who encourages others. Share your testimony of God's faithfulness with someone who needs hope today.
