Vision
"Where there is no vision, the people perish."
Devotion
Vision is spiritual sight—the ability to see what God sees, to perceive His purposes, and to align your life with His eternal plan. Without it, we wander aimlessly, tossed by every wind, living for the moment rather than for eternity. A people without vision cast off restraint and lose their way.
But where does vision come from? Not from human ambition or clever strategy. True vision comes from the Word of God, illuminated by the Spirit of God, and confirmed in the people of God. It is caught in the secret place of prayer and carried out in faithful obedience.
Seek God for vision—for your life, your family, your church, your calling. Ask Him to open the eyes of your heart to see what He is doing and where He is leading. Then walk by faith, not by sight, trusting that He who began a good work will complete it.
Meditation Moment
Ask God to give you His vision for your life. Pray Ephesians 1:18-19, asking Him to enlighten the eyes of your heart. Seek clarity on your calling and purpose. Write down what God reveals to you. Share this vision with a trusted spiritual mentor and ask for accountability as you pursue it.
